Coroner ID's Woman Killed In West Manchester Twp. Crash

A Jackson Township woman has died after a single vehicle crash, according to the York County coroner.

Melina Valenti Broughton, 54, died at the scene of the crash in the 1000 block of South Salem Church Road in West Manchester Township at 11:17 p.m.

Broughton lost control of her vehicle and crashed into several trees, as Daily Voice previously reported.

She was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

An autopsy will not be performed.

West Manchester Township police continue to investigate.

Broughton was a class of 1985 graduate of York Catholic High School.

She is survived by her sons Kody and Aaron and daughter Natasha, several grandchildren, as well as her extended family. She was recently predeceased by her father.

Her wide network of friends and family have shown their support for her family on social media, reminding the world of her "beautiful, kind soul." 

Details for her funeral and any memorial services scheduled have not been made public.
